Fancied painting a beard and some more Asian inspired clothing, so here's a little sketch of my trainer Linden with his hands in his pockets. :-)

Dorian Pavus / Ramon Tikaram

Having had much fun with portraying Ramon Tikaram as an older Dorian Pavus, I thought I'd have a go and paint him as a young Dorian. I'm thinking mid-twenties, but I'm rubbish at judging ages, so who knows. ;-)

Two rather rough wips for face number nine and ten. Precious in hues of blue, and a rosy little Micky.
My tinnitus is screaming like a banshee at the moment and I'm just exhausted, so as it stands I'll consider even a rough sketch a result. At least it's something :-)

Murder mystery madness

Face number four for the 29 faces is not a detective, but he is very much a veteran of the murder mystery having been in in episodes of Morse, Lewis and Midsomer Murders. I first became aware of him watching Lewis. It was one of those of those episodes where - spoiler alert - my favourite turned out to be the baddie. He was just so sweet.. unfortunately he was also psychotic and murdered people. Anyhoo, here's a sketch of Con O'Neill. He's got the most extraordinary husky voice and a mass of chest hair... and I'm a sucker for both ;-)

Another attempt at Aichel - the banjo playing sorcerer. Face number 5 for the 29 Faces. The first hour went just fine... then I thought I'd just allow myself to go a bit over and make a few adjustments... Bad idea - I started to faff again. I think I need to instigate an egg timer to assist with my self discipline.

Face number 4 for the 29 faces. For this one I tried out a pencil brush I was kindly given by a super sweet layout artist from Luxembourg. I only ever paint in PS, I don't draw, so I figured now would be a good time to try it. So I drew a sketch, added tone, then colour. It was an interesting experience.
