Blowing a hoolie

Bubbles
The word-prompt 'alien' was suggested in the 29 Faces group the other day, for topical reasons, and I suddenly remembered that I had a post it note on my wall saying 'aliens in everyday situations'. So there... Face number 8, an alien blowing bubbles.
To save a bit of time I used a photo I took of this amazing park in Wales as the base for the background. Which means that technically speaking this guy is hanging out in a park in Wales. And you know, if I was visiting from another planet, I would definitively go to Wales. :-)

No pleasin'

David
I'll say one thing for the two train wrecks that are Prometheus and Alien Covenant... they did give us the very beautiful and deeply disturbing prototype synthetic, David.
An android so spectacularly hard to please that he eliminated the population of an entire planet simply because they disappointed him.

'I tell you that it's sad but true... there's just no pleasin' you'
(Boom! Bap! Pow! - No Pleasin')

It's June guys!

Caleon
I have now finally finished my 29 faces all the way back from Feb... However, I am really not happy with quite a few of them... one so much so I have decided to remove it from my 29 faces... so I'm back to 28 again. Which brings me to this fella... this is Caleon, based on beautiful Cillian Murphy, and he is number 29... he is also the first of my 'June guys'. So there :-)

Lovely Curtains My Lady

Aaand, it's done. Huzzah. During it's final stages a slight change of direction occured as it was suggested to me that I added a hint of 'some of those useless curtains that people have wrapped around poles at the top of their windows, but they don't do anything functional' (yes, that's how it was put to me). So now this painting which was originally thought of more as a 'sickly purple skinned person being helped up by bearded blue/greeny skinned person' has become more of a 'He snuck into her boudoir at night, guess what happened next...?' kind of painting. Thank you Richard.
Also, my new favourite thing... bioluminescence!

Caleon

Caleon the Alien

Revisiting a character from a long, loong time ago (elaborate backstory available upon request;-)). Still struggling to get him just right. Not happy with the clothes, will redo later. Like the lighting though.
