Gorgeous from every angle

Hiroyuki Sanada

Well, he was bound to be in there somewhere. Face number three, Hiroyuki Sanada. I just love him, okay. I just really, really love. A lot. Yes, ok. Glad we got that established.

'Tis September

Yudaina

Mission statement for this here 29 Faces: Keep it loose!

Face number one... My nomad king, Yudaina. Based on my most beloved, Hiroyuki Sanada. 'Cause he's brighter than sunshine

What a man

A might, mighty good man

Hey gang :-) It's been soooo long since I've had time to do any painting. For various reasons, all of them terribly dull. But here's a little sketch of that mighty, mighty good man to whom most of my heart belongs. ;-)

Things to do

Yudaina

... when you're recovering from the flu.
A lil' painting of my nomad King Yudaina, based on the one, the only, Hiroyuki Sanada!

A beautiful, beautiful man

Takeshi Nomura ME

Holy moly there's just so much going on at the moment. But here is a little sketch of a character that hangs out with Precious and little Micky. Takeshi Nomura, medical examiner - writer of poetry, master of power napping and perfectly capable of snapping your neck. And of course he has to be the spitting image of Hiroyuki Sanada, need I even explain why ;-)

Shiny silver

Yudaina

Sunday sketch of nomad king Yudaina, based as always on the holder of my heart, Hiroyuki Sanada.

Five goooooold rings!

Yudaina - wip

My nomad king in all his finery. Work in progress. Merry Christmas everyone!

Shave but no haircut

Yudaina - wip

Face number 14... a wip of nomad king Yudaina, once again sans beard. Based as always on the one and only, holder of my heart, Hiroyuika Sanada.

Two for the sighs of one

Yudaina

Little Micky - wip

Face number 12 and 13. Yudaina and Little Micky. Still not feeling it, but that's not going to stop me from trying... whilst screaming internally throughout.

Yep, still handsome

Yudaina

Unfortunately I was detained elsewhere tonight, so not a lot of time for painting. So for face number 5, a rough and ready Yudaina, as always based on holder of my heart Hiroyuki Sanada.

Hello handsome

Yudaina

Face number four. Hiroyuki Sanada. Holder of my heart and the face of my nomad king Yudaina. And yes, I really do think he's the most beautiful man in the world.

I can smell the lavender from here

Face number 24 in progress. My nomad king, Yudaina, based on that fella with the face I so adore, Hiroyuki Sanada :-)

One of my paintings of Yudaina will be featured in EXPOSÉ volume 12 by Ballistic Publishing and it has also been nominated for an award in the Portrait Painted category  :-) I'm so happy  :-D
Their books are awesome and I have several of them myself, didn't think I'd ever make it into one :-D
If you love digital art books, go get one!

There are 367 nominated images in 34 categories by 270 artists from 57 countries and the awards ceremony will be live-streamed over the web on Saturday 8th April at 2 pm GMT.

Rose tinted

Yudaina

Right... ok, number eight. My nomad King, Yudaina, in rosy hues... based on possibly the most beautiful man on the planet, Hiroyuki Sanada. And now... food, I'm so hungry!

Beauty, grace, kick you in the face

Sanada-san

'And then he looked at me with his big brown eyes and said'... Go to bed honey ;-) My Hiro in hues of blue, face number two for the 29 Faces, Feb 2017.

Have you hugged your Hiroyuki today?

Yudaina

I was going to do something completely different last evening when I suddenly thought of Hiroyuki Sanada... I do that a lot... so here's a little sketch from last night of Yudaina :-)

Through the dark

Yudaina

Done. Young Yudaina in the dark... based on my heart squeeze Hiroyuki Sanada.

Lights out

Yudaina - wip

So thanks to one of the lovely ladies in the 29 faces group mentioning my favourite subject... well I just kinda had to ;-) Still gotta a few finishing touches to do, but here's a pre for now. A young Yudaina brooding in the dark... brooding... brooding.... broooding ;-) Based of course on my most favourite of favourites - Hiroyuki Sanada.

Power napping

Yudaina - meditating

Another sketch of my nomad king Yudaina, as always based on the holder of my heart Hiroyuki Sanada.

Sleeping King

Yudaina

Another one of Yudaina who seems to have become my June guy of choice :-) I'm suffering really badly from hay fever at the moment and the tablets are making me really sleepy, so it seemed appropriate to have one of the nomad King sleeping ;-) As always based on beautiful Hiroyuki Sanada <3
