Took some time to finish this wip from January. As 2020 have moved on into March this has now become a birthday image for one of my favourite airport employees, since little Micky's birthday is the 6th of March. Many happy returns, honey, and sorry you have man the front desk on your birthday. We'll get you a real nice cake. :-)

A very happy new year to you all! I had a rather dramatic end to 2019 from an artistic point of view, as my computer decided it did not want to experience the new decade. Luckily, I am a belt and braces kinda cat, so my files are ok, and have now taken up residence on my spangly new machine. And I shall be living on porridge for the foreseeable future. As with everything there are teething issues, but the only way is forwards. So, for now, as I get to know my new beastie, have a wip of Little Micky manning the front desk at the airport on New Year's Eve. Lots of love to you all!

So, an iridescent puffer vest seemed like a really good idea until I actually started painting it. Did I learn a lot? Yes. Would i do it again? Aaaah!

Probably it's been under the sofa for 5 five weeks. Finally found a bit of time for some personal work. Wip of little Micky.

Happy New Year!

Once again I'm with la familia in ye olde country for new year but this time there has been a computer upgrade! And while the monitor may be smaller, this time around my PSD files haven't forced the computer to it's knees, making it beg for mercy.

My first painting for 2018. Little Micky off to do a spot of flying with Precious the pilot. Almost done, but still some tweaking to do. 

May 2018 bring you all many wonderful and groovy things. :-)

I'm currently in the throes of a raging art block. Trying to paint something every day, but it's just not working. It is spectacularly frustrating, not to mention deeply unpleasant. But tonight, at least, I managed a sketch of little Micky.

So, a fair few of my 29 faces were still works in progress. Now begins the slow process of pulling myself together and finishing them. Here's the face number 15, all done. I had so much fun with Micky's haircut for face number 29 that I decided to chop off the ponytail in this one as well.

Aaaand... here it is! Face number 29 for the 29 Faces. Woot woot. Still a few things to sort out on it, but other than that. Another one of little Micky, from that one time when he decided to cut his hair short. :-)

Still at my parents' house gently trying to convince the ancient computer here that running Photoshop is a perfectly reasonable thing to do. We're not entirely in agreement on this matter... and so this is where I leave face number 26 for now - a wip of little Micky. :-)

Sticking with the rough sketches still... my tinnitus is still driving me crazy. Face number eleven in hues of yellow, elf lord Tirion - as always based on magical Mansai Nomura and - not quite as rough as the previous three, but still a wip - face number twelve, Micky in hues of blue and teal.

Two rather rough wips for face number nine and ten. Precious in hues of blue, and a rosy little Micky.
My tinnitus is screaming like a banshee at the moment and I'm just exhausted, so as it stands I'll consider even a rough sketch a result. At least it's something :-)
