Hey gang :-) It's been soooo long since I've had time to do any painting. For various reasons, all of them terribly dull. But here's a little sketch of that mighty, mighty good man to whom most of my heart belongs. ;-)

Holy moly there's just so much going on at the moment. But here is a little sketch of a character that hangs out with Precious and little Micky. Takeshi Nomura, medical examiner - writer of poetry, master of power napping and perfectly capable of snapping your neck. And of course he has to be the spitting image of Hiroyuki Sanada, need I even explain why ;-)

Face number four. Hiroyuki Sanada. Holder of my heart and the face of my nomad king Yudaina. And yes, I really do think he's the most beautiful man in the world. 

EXPOSÉ Awards coming up

Me and my EXPOSÉ nominated painting. Taken today down by our local Danish sea front and it was blowing a gale.The award ceremony is this Saturday! There is still time to get your hand on a copy of the book right here.

Nomination for the Nomad King

One of my paintings of Yudaina will be featured in EXPOSÉ volume 12 by Ballistic Publishing and it has also been nominated for an award in the Portrait Painted category  :-) I'm so happy  :-D
Their books are awesome and I have several of them myself, didn't think I'd ever make it into one :-D

So thanks to one of the lovely ladies in the 29 faces group mentioning my favourite subject... well I just kinda had to ;-) Still gotta a few finishing touches to do, but here's a pre for now. A young Yudaina brooding in the dark... brooding... brooding.... broooding ;-) Based of course on my most favourite of favourites - Hiroyuki Sanada.

Another one of Yudaina who seems to have become my June guy of choice :-) I'm suffering really badly from hay fever at the moment and the tablets are making me really sleepy, so it seemed appropriate to have one of the nomad King sleeping ;-) As always based on beautiful Hiroyuki Sanada <3
