The smell of burnt hair in the morning...

Tywyll O Fewn

Took some time this evening to finish Tywyll.
And on that note thank you to actor Danny Midwinter for appearing in an episode of Lewis with the most wonderfully pained expression on his lovely face and to Sean Bean for always providing the most spectacular reference for amazing wrinkles.
Ty is one of the characters from one of my many, oh so many, stories that I occasionally work on, and he is very special to me, which makes me ever so apprehensive about painting him. It feels like painting someone you know, and I catch myself thinking if he'll like my efforts. As one of my colleagues said to me - you clearly have a very rich internal life. Since the word go, my family can vouch for that ;-)

Thank you Danny...

Tywyll - wip
Soooo... between now and my last post I have started but not finished half a dozen paintings, and that's not counting the ones I outright discarded. I don't know what's wrong with me at the moment.  Anyway, I decided om a little wrinkle therapy to try and calm myself... So here is another not finished painting of Tywyll O Fewn, my possessed demon hunter.
